Poem in Boyne Berries 14 Autumn 2013 Edition

After a very busy few weeks I have finally been able to sit down and indulge into my contributor’s copy of Boyne Berries 14, Autumn 2013 Edition and enjoy the excellent writing provided by the group.

I am delighted to have a poem in Boyne Berries as this journal has been around since 2006 and is popular and respected among the writers and public of Ireland. The journal is produced by The Boyne Writers Group based in Trim Co. Meath. What I love about this group of individuals is that they meet twice a month to read and critique each others work whether it is poetry, fiction, a novel or play, it doesn’t matter, all work is read, critically analyzed with helpful feedback provided and worked on.

The group publishes this journal twice a year featuring some of their own work as well as writers from all over Ireland and abroad and it is with great pleasure to have a piece chosen too by the featured guest editor Kate Dempsey whom I admire and love her blog which is well worth the visit.

Lots of great writing in this edition from Noel King, Maeve O’Sullivan, the wonderful Dimitra Xidous, Michael Farry, Tom Dredge, Breda Wall Ryan and tons more, quality, and very enjoyable. Check out the Boyne Berries website here to grab a copy or if you live in Galway, pop into Charlie Byrne’s Bookshop.
