It’s been a few years now since we, The Tuesday Knights launched our anthology in Galway city and it has taken a couple of years for myself to upload the anthology to Amazon.
In 2012, myself and 6 other poets decided to create a book of poetry from scratch, finding an artist for the cover, a photographer for inside photos, an editor and a publisher.
It was a lot of fun and hard work, but in the end, we created a decent book to be proud of. The idea came about one night after a poetry workshop. The 7 of us, over a period of time, have participated in the workshops of the poet Kevin Higgins (highly recommended) and we decided to get together to discuss the possibility of creating an anthology from the poems we had worked on in the workshops.
Myself, and 6 highly diverse Galway poets: Breege Wardein, Bernie Ashe, Ruth Quinlan, Eileen Ní Shuilleabháin, Dave Donovan and Anne Irwin each contributed 7 poems, editing each-others work.
We then had the book published, then delivered. We had a book launch (so much fun) and the embarked on a book tour around the country reading and selling many books to our surprise. It was an amazing experience and I recommend to people to take a similar approach for some fun that I wrote about here.
And now, I have finally figured out how to upload the book to Amazon, painstakingly uploaded and it is now available at a great price to buy or share and review. You can view it here thank you
