Reading at Ó Bhéal in Cork Plus Some New Poems and Recipes

It has been a hectic enjoyable summer with some ups and downs. But after a successful reading at the May Over the Edge Writers’ Gathering, I’m now delighted to say I’ll be reading at Ó Bhéal in the Long Valley Bar in Cork this Monday 8th of August alongside my partner in crime, Anne Irwin, come if around, it will be great craic.

Also, this week I had five poems published with A New Ulster which I am over the moon to be a part of since I have been a fan for quite a while now. Check it out, it is an online publication run by Amos Greig and it always has brilliant work and always looking for new voices. Check out my five here…

Also coming is a poem and book review with Skylight 47…it’s always an honour to be published in this unique literary paper.

I’m still banging out the weekly recipes apart from last week (race week yuk) so go here to This is Galway to see what recipes have been doing the rounds. I just finished a roast pear recipe and wham bam, it’s savage, keep an eye out for that one.
