Award-Winning Finalist in the Poetry category of the 2018 International Book Awards

So I’m delighted to find out that my book ‘Somewhere but not Here’ has been honored as a finalist in the International Book Awards from the American Book Festival committee.

This has made my year. To make it out of over 2000 submissions and be in the marvelous company alongside Bill Gainer, M. Jeanne Skvarla, Mathieu Cailler, E.M. Schorb and overall winner Linda Flaherty Haltmaier is just mindblowing.

The publicity and media that comes from even being a finalist in this competition are huge. So I’ll wait to see the outcome and hopefully, the book will thrive.

We are still keeping the book at a low price on Amazon to make it affordable for people to buy.

In other publication news, I have 5 new poems up on the wonderful Blue Nib Magazine, and 3 of my poems have been translated into Italian for Inkroci Magazine.

I’ll also have a couple of readings in Chicago coming in August, stay tuned or subscribe to keep up.
